News & Updates:

Our racing season is over for 2010, but thanks to club volunteers, we will be attempting to keep the trail open for training. The current organization of MCDMA believes it would be a waste of all of the effort put in grooming this past winter to just let the trail go dormant and not maintain it. We believe our club is here to provide a means for members to participate in this sport, and keeping a training facility and trail system open is one way of reaching that ideal.

If it’s raining on the Kenai, or too many moose in town, too cold or no snow in Fairbanks, come on over to MCDMA and run the trails here!

Trail Report:

Tues. March 2nd, 2010

I groomed/packed the trail 2X yesterday, but it is still soft. There was 8-10” of new snow on the trail when I arrived. It will take a day or two of grooming and cool nights to set up, but it is trainable now. GS.

Please report any trail issues (downed trees, moose holes, etc) to our race committee.
